CUSTOM ORDERS & SIGNAGE
Do you accept custom orders?
Absolutely! Custom work is a big part of what we do. Many of our products can be customised in size, wording, font, colour, finish and material.
Have something different in mind? Send us your requirements, approximate dimensions and any reference images or artwork, and we'll let you know what's possible and provide a quote.
Can you create custom signage for my business?
Yes! We produce custom signage for cafes, restaurants, retail stores, offices, clinics, accommodation and other businesses.
This can include business logos, acrylic lettering, room/name signs, door signs, numbering, wayfinding signs and other custom signage.
Send us your approximate dimensions, quantity and artwork (if available) and we'd be happy to discuss your project.
Can you produce my business logo or artwork?
Yes. We can laser cut custom logos, lettering and artwork using materials including acrylic and plywood.
For the best result, please provide vector artwork or a high-resolution PDF where possible. Pricing depends on the dimensions, material, quantity and complexity of the design.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?
Yes. We welcome bulk and project orders for businesses, hospitality, events, weddings and other applications.
Project pricing may be available depending on quantity, specifications and production requirements. Contact us with your requirements for a quote.
Can I order a different size, colour, material or font?
Usually, yes. Many Craft Explorer products can be customised beyond the standard options available online.

PRODUCTION & MATERIALS
What materials do you work with?
We primarily work with acrylic, plywood and selected 3D-printing materials, with different colours, finishes and thicknesses available depending on the product.
If you're unsure which material is most suitable for your application, contact us and we'll be happy to recommend an option.
Do you offer laser cutting and 3D printing services?
Yes. Our in-house capabilities include laser cutting, engraving and 3D printing for personalised products, signage and custom projects.
If you have something you would like us to manufacture, send us your idea, dimensions, quantity and artwork where available.
Are your products suitable for outdoor use?
This depends on the product and material. Many of our acrylic products are suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, while some materials and finishes are better suited to particular environments.
If your product will be installed outdoors, let us know when enquiring so we can recommend an appropriate material and installation method.
ORDERING & INSTALLATION
How do I install acrylic letters and numbers?
Many of our acrylic letters and numbers can be supplied with double-sided adhesive (e.g. 3M or Orafol) for simple installation. Other installation methods may also be available depending on the product, size and mounting surface. We can also provide standoffs or pre-cut screw holes to suit your installation needs.
How to Install Acrylic Letters & Numbers:
- Clean the surface
Make sure the installation surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or moisture. - Plan your layout
Position the letters or numbers and check the overall spacing and alignment before installation. - Create a guide
Use painter's tape and a spirit level to create a straight reference line if required. For more complex layouts, we recommend marking the position of each letter before installation. - Prepare the letters
If double-sided adhesive has been supplied separately, apply it firmly to the back of each letter. If your letters come with pre-applied adhesive, you can skip this step. - Remove the adhesive backing
Carefully peel away the backing from the double-sided adhesive without touching the adhesive surface unnecessarily. - Position and install
Carefully align each letter with your guide before pressing it onto the surface. Once you're happy with the position, apply firm and even pressure across the letter to ensure good adhesion. - Remove the protective film
If your acrylic has a protective film on the front surface, carefully peel it away after installation. - Final check
Remove your painter's tape or installation guides, check the alignment and gently clean the acrylic with a soft damp cloth if required.
Important: Adhesive performance will vary depending on the mounting surface and environmental conditions. Smooth, clean and non-porous surfaces generally provide the strongest adhesion. For uneven, textured or difficult surfaces, please contact us before installation so we can recommend an alternative mounting method.
Can you provide a digital mock-up before production?
For selected custom signage and larger projects, yes. Where appropriate, we can prepare a digital mock-up for your review before production.
Any applicable design or setup requirements will be confirmed as part of your quotation.

How much is shipping and how long will my order take?

We ship around Australia and offer flat-rate shipping.
Production time: Typically 1–4 business days.
Standard Shipping (Australia): A$12 — typically 3–5 business days.
Express Shipping (Australia): A$17 — typically 1–3 business days.
International Shipping: Calculated based on destination.
For international orders, please select your destination at checkout to view the applicable shipping fee.
All orders are shipped via Australia Post. The Standard shipping timeframe typically ranges from 3-5 business days within Australia, while Express shipping usually takes 1-3 business days within Australia. Please consult their website for any updates. Any delays caused by Australia Post are beyond our control.
Every order is custom-made. We always do our best to get the orders out as soon as possible. Our typical processing time is generally 1-4 business days. Please consider longer wait times during peak sales seasons.
Do you accept urgent or last-minute orders?
Yes, depending on our current production schedule and the product required.
Rush production may be available for an additional fee. Contact us before ordering with your required delivery date and we'll confirm whether we can accommodate it.
Can I pick up my order in Melbourne?
Yes. Local pickup is available from Mulgrave, Melbourne. Please contact us before placing your order if you'd like to arrange pickup, and we'll provide you with a code to waive the shipping fee.
Please note that pickup is strictly by appointment only. We do not accept walk-ins.
Where are your products made?
Craft Explorer is based in Melbourne, Australia. Our products are designed and manufactured in-house using processes including laser cutting, engraving and 3D printing.
Keeping production in-house gives us greater control over quality while allowing us to accommodate custom and small-batch projects.
